On the of 20th June (World Refugee Day), we will be orgainising a tidy up of the YCW backyard. By removing some of the junk at the back of YCW house and general maitenance of the compost area. We want to have a clean slate so that we can start our international community garden in Spring.

We need more smiley faces to help out. We will up on put a few pictures of the garden and our progress and current ideas for the garden.

Venue: Italian Restaurant, Merrylands 6-8.30pm
Present: Paul, Anastasia, Steven

1. Review of last meeting minutes

Anastasia's name incorrecty spelt. No 'c'.

2.Review of current environmental happenings

Group shared various articles found in local newspapers.

3.Aim of group brainstorm

each member disussed what they thought was an important aim of the group. The three aims were:

- Educating people through action
- Awareness raising for sustainability
- Community action

4. Group Name

- Group brainstormed some names, Green Thumb YCW Team, Eco Holroyd Community Group & Holroyd Eco Action Team (HEAT). HEAT was adopted as a present name.

5. General business

- General ideas raised but had no home were:

- YCW environmental audit
- Use what we hve at YCW (people, resources, physical space, growing vegies)
- PC Rubbish to be removed

Paul to type minutes and send out and Anastasia to speak to Sarah about the group and its aims.
